Maritime Crew
a) Ship Security Guard
BGOS has been providing Ship Security Guards for cruise lines since 1998. BGOS recruits Gurkhas of the Indian and Nepalese Armies, most of whom have a wide range of Military experience.
BGOS also recruits Civilian Gurkha Guards with excellent overseas experience in security field. For Female Security Guard, BGOS recruits Female Gurkhas having good English speaking skill with experience in hotel, airlines and other hospitality field.
b) Hotel Department Crew
BGOS has been recruiting crew for cruise ship Hotel Department since 2000. Nepal has become a favorite tourist destination for many international traveller and tourism is becoming steadily more developed, with many four and five star hotels and resorts, some with casinos. BGOS recruits hotel department crew from these sources.
c) Entertainment Department Crew
BGOS also recruits crew for Entertainment Departments and Casinos for cruise lines. We can provide experienced casino dealers as well as young and suitable candidate for trainee casino dealers.
d) Gurkha Multi Skills Private Ltd.
BGOS has its own legally established training institute, Gurkha Multi Skills (GMS) Private Ltd., which conducts different types of in-house training for our selected candidates. In addition GMS, makes arrangements for appropriate pre-joining training, Basic Safety Training (BST) and other courses in accordance with STCW regulations, at places outside Nepal.
GMS In-house training
GMS conducts or arranges the following in-house training:
a. Marlins English test: The Marlins test is mandatory for all candidates for the sea, but is administered only to those whom BGOS identifies as having the potential to be employed onboard ship.
b. Ship Security Guard Course: an in-house course for recruits who will work onboard ships, conducted once a Client confirms acceptance.
c. Ship Orientation Course: an in-house course for recruits selected for position other than security.
d. Gurkha Security Course: an in-house course for non-military security guards.
GMS conducts or arranges the following out-of-station training:
a. Basic Safety Training: The four elements BST courses are mandatory for crew who has been selected to work onboard ship
b. Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties: these courses are mandatory training for crew who have been selected to work onboard ship.
c. Crowd Management Training: This is a mandatory training for crew who has been selected to work onboard ship.
d. Personal Survival Craft & Rescue Boat: This course can be arranged according to Client requirements.
e. Advanced Fire Fighting: This course can be arranged according to Client requirements.
